Of course by now you have all heard about the $8000 tax credit for first time home buyers. But what you probably have not discovered is the tax credit is scheduled to end by Nov 30, 2009. So... if you are on the fence, as a potential home buyer,  now would be the time to act. Yes, its a little hard to believe the $8000 Free Money non repayable courtesey of the United States Stimulus Package. What you probably dont know is if you purchase a home between now and Nov. 30th you may have your 2008 tax returns amended and get your tax credit funded to you in few short weeks after closing. Now that just smart business.
